2026 Rebuilt Robot Reveal

On March 1st, Team Neutrino held their Robot Reveal! With 122 people in attendance, this event allowed the team to share all the progress made during the build season with the local community. Team members were introduced, and all those who attended could learn more about the team and see the robot revealed to the public for the first time today! Additionally, the Woodie Flowers’ Award and the FIRST Leadership nominees from our team were announced – congratulations to William McDeid and Joy Zhang for FIRST Leadership, and Woodie Flowers’ nominee, Dagney Paskach!

FLL State

On Saturday Febuary 7th, one of our mentored FLL teams went to the state championship. At this event hosted by our sponsor, Iowa State University, they were able to compete and present for a chance at nationals. Once they were done competing, we took them next door for a tour of our workspace and a chance to see our in-progress robot while we worked. This was very fun for both our team members and our FLL team, The Dino Nuggies!

2026 Kickoff

On Saturday, January 10th, Team Neutrino came together to dig into the new FRC game: REBUILT! The day started with watching the kickoff broadcast from FIRST, where the game manual passcode was given out. With the manual, we split into different groups, reading rules and coming up with strategies to discuss in the large group. By the end of the day, we brainstormed robot actions to add to a list of our needs, wants, nice-to-haves, and no’s, which will serve as a guide and be edited over the course of our build season.
