Disassembling Leviathan and Mezzanine Clean Up

On November 8th, Team Neutrino spent the morning and afternoon disassembling Leviathan, the robot from the 2025 season, in preparation for the upcoming season. We began by removing the control components from the robot, followed by various mechanisms from the robot’s body. Later, we dismantled the reefs so that we could reuse the wood for prototyping or for creating more game fields in the next season. Each mechanism was taken apart by a group of team members collaborating. We practiced the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhered to general safety measures to ensure everyone remained safe. Additionally, we organized the mezzanine area to improve navigation and better prepare for the new season.

Fellows STEM Night

On November 7th, Team Neutrino proudly hosted a booth at the Fellows STEM Night alongside Team Photon #18050. The event had many elementary students and their families who explored the world of science and technology. Attendees had the chance to dive into hands-on experiences with SPIKE PRIME block coding, where they could unleash their creativity to program robots in imaginative ways.

In addition to coding, we offered an array of delightful STEM crafts that captivated young minds and sparked their interest in the wonders of science. Throughout the evening, our team members introduced attendees to STEM and robotics, fostering a love for innovation and discovery.

Post Cow Town Throwdown 2025

Thanks so much to everyone who watched and supported us at Cow Town Throwdown this year, whether it was via the livestream or up in the bleachers! We had an incredible time competing and were able to make it all the way to the semi-finals as the Third Alliance first pick alongside team captain, #1986 Team Titanium, and #1825 The Cyborgs. A huge thank you to #1730 Team Driven from Lee’s Summit High School, for hosting the event! We’re looking forward to competing again next year and to another great season!

CowTown ThrowDown 2025

Team Neutrino will be heading to Lee’s Summit, Missouri, from Friday, October 24, until Saturday, October 25, for the annual CowTown ThrowDown competition! We will be using Leviathan for our final off-season FRC event of the Reefscape 2025 Season! You can find more detailed information at: https://www.cttd-robotics.com/.

Post Clash in the Corn 2025

On October 17th and 18th, Team Neutrino participated in Clash in the Corn in West Des Moines. This was our second year participating at the first FRC offseason event in Iowa! Not only did we compete, but team members volunteered in many roles, such as food prep, field reset, and concessions. Our team also hosted two conferences: one was a code exchange, where teams could learn how other teams code their robots, and one was a how to for the Impact award, allowing more teams to effectively present about their teams impact in their community. We even presented our world famous Spaghetti award!

We had a very successful event on the robot side, with Team Neutrino and Levithan placing third overall, and was the first pick of the second alliance. We ended up winning the event for the second year in a row! Our “second team”, Team Nutrition, competed with our off-season robot, Calorie, which was a modification to our 2024 robot Valkyrie that our students did over the summer to advance their design and coding skills. Team Nutrition placed 10th overall, and was the first pick of the fourth alliance, and got third place as an alliance in the playoffs. Overall, it was a fun experience for the team and we were able to use this time to train new members, refine our skills, and continue our lasting impact in the Iowa FRC community.

Thank you to our sponsors for funding our team and everyone that watched on compete virtually or physically!
