Iowa State Fair STEM Day

On August 17th, we had an incredible experience at the Iowa State Fair! Our Team Neutrino members proudly showcased our robot, captivating fairgoers with its remarkable features and demonstrations. We also had the honor of volunteering as part of the STEM Day, where we engaged with eager attendees about the wonders of science and technology. In addition to our responsibilities, we took the time to explore the vibrant attractions of the fair, indulging in delicious treats and enjoying the lively atmosphere. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came to see us and to the fair organizers for welcoming us with open arms. We truly had a fantastic time at this event and can’t wait to return for more adventures in the coming years!

Robot In 3 Hours (Ri3H)

On August 5th and 6th, members of Team Neutrino came together to participate in our first “Robot in 3 Hours” event. This event was structured similarly to the “Robot in 3 Days” program. We began by watching the kickoff video for the new season, titled UNEARTHED.

On the first day, we built all the mission models and viewed the Robot Game video. On the second day, we formed assigned teams to brainstorm the missions we would undertake, and we began programming and constructing attachments for the robot. At the end of the event, we held matches among all the teams and a mentor team. Everyone had a fantastic time, and it was a great opportunity for team bonding.

Post FIRST World Championship in Houston

Thanks to everyone who cheered on the team at the FIRST World Championship in Houston! We had a wonderful time competing in the Hopper Division. We ranked 16th in our division and couldn’t have done it without our amazing pit reps, pit crew, drive team, and team members! Thank you to CIT Signature for transportation and all of our sponsors, parents, and mentors— we couldn’t have asked for a better season and look forward to competing next year!

We can’t wait to dig into our next season!

2025 FIRST World Championship in Houston!

Team Neutrino is heading to Houston next Tuesday to attend the FRC World Championship from April 16-19! We will be competing against 597 other teams at 1001 Avenida De Las Americas in Houston, Texas. We want to thank our team members for all their hard work throughout the year that has allowed us to make it to Worlds. We would also like to thank all our sponsors for their generous support of the team. Finally, we would like to thank our mentors and coaches for their dedication and commitment to the team. Without everyone’s support, this would not have been possible. We hope to see you there!
