Game Overview
Power Up is the 2018 FIRST Robotics Competition game. Power Up includes two, three-team alliances of video game characters and their human operators who are trapped in an arcade game. Both alliances work to defeat their respective bosses by collecting Power Cubes and placing them on Plates to control Switches or the Scale, or delivering Power Cubes to their humans who then place them into the Vault earning the Alliance Power Ups. During the final 30 seconds, teams work together to Climb to Face the Boss. More information can be found in the game manual or the game animation.
Our Robot
This year’s robot, Cyclops, was designed with the goal of being able to deliver cubes to both the scale and switch, pick up cubes from the ground, deliver to the portal, and climb as well as assist another robot in climbing. Watch our Robot Reveal Video!

Competitions
In 2018 we attended the Iowa Regional where we won the Regional Engineering Inspiration Award, the Seven Rivers Regional, and the FIRST Championship in Detroit after qualifying from the Engineering Inspiration Award.
