Outreach Camp 2025

At Outreach Camp on June 9, 11, and 13th, members of Team Neutrino prepared to host FLL Blastoff, a youth robotics summer camp. Members learned the schedule, rubric, and curriculum of the upcoming camp, participating in short quizzes and activities to enforce their learning. Additionally, members were familiarized with the 2019 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) game, CityShaper, by learning the rules, missions, and how to score points. Members who weren’t attending FLL Blastoff worked on building mission models for the camp.

CelebrAsian 2025

On May 23rd, 2025, Team Neutrino attended the annual CelebrAsian event in Des Moines! Reaching over 200 people, Team Neutrino showcased the robot’s new features to the community, such as the elevator and scoring mechanism. This event allowed our team to get involved within the community and bring the world of STEM to a wider audience. We had a lot of fun exploring the event and enjoying delicious food!

Des Moines Mini Maker Faire 2025

On April 26, 2025, Team Neutrino went to the Science Center of Iowa to teach a soldering workshop and demonstrate our robot. This was a great opportunity to share our teams’ projects such as our FLL Blastoff! summer camp and broaden our reach to more STEM interested communities. There, we collaborated with #6419 FRC Team ICE, #18050 FTC Team Photon, #16736 FTC Atomic Narwhals, and other FLL teams within our community to share FIRST’s mission and demonstrate it at all levels.
